Ludlow

Locality in the northern section of Trinidad, Colorado. The Ludlow Monument marks the site of the Ludlow Massacre, where women and children died in a fire during a 1913–14 coalmining strike.

Ludlow

Town in south-central Massachusetts, on the Chicopee River, just northeast of Springfield; population (2000 est) 20,200. It is a suburb of Springfield, produces machinery and plastics, and processes food.

Settled in 1751 as part of Springfield, it was an early mill town, and an important jute and flax processor in the early 20th century.
