Lutzow, Franz Heinrich Hieronymus, Count (1849–1916)

Bohemian historian. English on his mother's side, he spent much time in England. His publications did much to popularize the Czech national movement in English eyes. They included Bohemia, an Historical Sketch (1896), and History of Bohemian Literature (1899).

He was born in Hamburg, and was the son of Franz, count Lutzow. He also published a translation of Comenius's Labyrinth of the World (1901), The Life and Times of Master John Hus (1909), and The Hussite Wars (1914).
