Lydd

Village in Romney Marsh, Kent, England; population (2001) 5,800. Ferryfield airport provides passenger services to France. Lydd has a fine church which is partly Saxon; its prosperity derives from membership of the Cinque Ports confederation.

Lydd has a flying school.
