Lynch, Kevin (Andrew) (1918–1984)

US planner. He studied at Yale University and Taliesin with Frank Lloyd Wright, before graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1947. He was a professor of city planning at MIT (1949–84). He wrote numerous books on city planning including The Image of the City (1960). In his Boston firm, Carr Lynch Associates (1977–84), he designed Boston's Government Center and Waterfront, as well as housing projects. Lynch was born in Chicago, Illinois.
