Lynch, Kevin (Andrew) (1918-1984)

US planner. He studied at Yale University and Taliesin with Frank Lloyd Wright, before graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1947. He was a professor of city planning at MIT (1949-84). He wrote numerous books on city planning including The Image of the City (1960). In his Boston firm, Carr Lynch Associates (1977-84), he designed Boston's Government Center and Waterfront, as well as housing projects. Lynch was born in Chicago, Illinois.
