Lyne, Adrian (1941- )

English film director. He graduated from the British advertising scene of the 1970s to direct such Hollywood films as Fatal Attraction (1987) and the controversial Lolita (1997).

Other films include Foxes (1980), Flashdance (1983), 9 1/2 Weeks (1986), Jacob's Ladder (1990), and Indecent Proposal (1993). His two short films are The Table and Mr Smith.
