Manistique River

River in the southern part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. From its source in and around Manistique Lake, the river flows southwest to Lake Michigan, just below the city of Manistique.

The Manistique River is fed by many streams; its main tributaries are the Driggs and Fox rivers. Manistique Lake is in the southeast of the Upper Peninsula, 21 km/13 mi southwest of Newberry. It is some 11 km/7 mi long by 5 km/3 mi wide, and is drained by the river. It is situated between the smaller South Manistique Lake and North Manistique Lake
