Mansfield, Jayne (1933–1967)

US actor. She had a short career as a kind of living parody of Marilyn Monroe in films including The Girl Can't Help It (1956) and Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? (1957).

She was known for her trademark squeal of delight and was consistently typecast as a dumb blonde. Though she appeared in a number of films, her career deteriorated into a succession of sleazy nightclub appearances.
