Maple Grove

City in Hennepin County, southeastern Minnesota, 23 km/14 mi northwest of Minneapolis; population (1990) 38,700. A rapidly expanding outer suburb of the Twin Cities (Minneapolis–St Paul), it experienced a significant growth in population during the 1980s and 1990s. Commercial development here has been concentrated along Interstate 94 and Interstate 494.
