Margaret Duchess of Burgundy (1446-1503)

Englishwoman. She was the sister of Edward IV of England. In 1468 she married Charles of Burgundy and was influential in obtaining financial help from her husband for Edward in 1470. After Henry VII's accession the Burgundian court became a refuge for Yorkist exiles.

She continually plotted against Henry VII and encouraged the pretenders Perkin Warbeck and Lambert Simnel.
