Italian composer and violinist. He was employed successively as a violinist at Venice, as music director at the church of Sant' Eufemia at Brescia, at the courts of Parma and Munich, and at Düsseldorf, Ferrara, and Milan.

Works

psalms, vespers, and other church music; symphonies; sonatas, dances, and other pieces for string instruments, vocal and instrumental chamber music, madrigals, canzonets, sacred songs, and other pieces for several voices.
