Market Bosworth

Market town in Leicestershire, England, 19 km/12 mi west of Leicester; population (2001) 1,900. Bosworth Field, the site in 1485 of the last battle between the houses of York and Lancaster, is 3 km/2 mi to the south.

Dr Johnson was an usher at the grammar school in Market Bosworth.
