Marlboro

Town in Windham County, southeastern Vermont; population (1990) 900. Marlboro is situated on the Molly Stark Trail (Vermont Route 9) just west of Brattleboro.

Marlboro is known for its summer chamber music festival, held on the campus of Marlboro College (founded 1946). Local industries include the manufacture of wood products, textiles, and toys.
