bushbuck

Antelope Tragelaphus scriptus found over most of Africa south of the Sahara. Up to 1 m/3 ft tall, the males have keeled horns twisted into spirals, and are brown to blackish. The females are generally hornless, lighter, and redder. All have white markings, including stripes or vertical rows of dots down the sides. Rarely far from water, bushbuck live in woods and thick brush.
