Mathilde

Rocky carbon-rich asteroid. It is dominated by a huge 25-km/15.5-mi crater and its mass is one-millionth the mass of the Moon. According to information from NASA's Near-Earth Asteroid Rendezvous (NEAR), Mathilde's dimensions are 66 × 48 × 46 km/41 × 30 × 29 mi, with a density of 1.3 g per cu cm/0.75 oz per cu in. It has a rotation period of 17.4 days.
