Mazzocchi, Virgilio (1597–1646)

Italian composer, brother of Domenico Mazzocchi. He was maestro di cappella at St John Lateran in Rome, 1628–29, and then at St Peter's until his death.

Vocal
psalms for double chorus; Sacri flores for two–four voices.
