McFarland

Village in Dane County, southeastern Wisconsin; population (1990) 5,200. This suburb of the city of Madison stands on Lake Waubesa, 10 km/6 mi southeast of the city centre. Biochemist Conrad A Elvehjem was born here in 1901.
