McGrath, Glenn Donald (1970– )| Australian cricketer. A tall right-arm fast bowler from New South Wales, he made his Test debut in 1993 while still at the Australian Cricket Academy. His ability to bowl accurately at great pace made him one of the most feared bowlers in world cricket. He helped Australia win the World Cup in 1999, 2003, and 2007. He was only the second Australian player to take 400 Test wickets and the fourth ever to surpass the 500 mark. |
