McLean County

Administrative district in central Illinois; area 3,069 sq km/1,185 sq mi, population (1990) 129,200. The Mackinaw River flows across the north of the county, while the twin cities of Normal and Bloomington – the county seat – are in the centre. They are surrounded by farmland that yields corn, livestock, and dairy products.
