McMullen, Clements (1892–1959)

US aviator. A civil engineer, he entered the air service after the USA entered World War I. In 1930 he completed a then-record flight from New York City to Buenos Aires, Argentina. He held several key air support and logistics posts in the USA and the Pacific during World War II. McMullen was born in Largo, Florida.
