Meads, Colin Earl (1936- )

New Zealand rugby player. He is regarded as one of the greatest lock forwards the game has known, who between 1957 and 1971 won a then world record 55 international caps. Playing against Scotland in 1967, he became only the second player to be sent off in an international. He coached New Zealand 1994-95, including during the 1995 rugby World Cup.
