Medina County

Administrative district of northern Ohio; area 1,093 sq km/422 sq mi, population (1990) 122,400. Its seat is at Medina.

Medina County is largely rural, with dairy farming, fruit and grain growing, and market gardening the main occupations. Some manufacturing takes place at Medina, Brunswick, and Wadsworth. Chippewa Lake is in the southwest of the county.
