Mentmore

Village in Buckinghamshire, England, 6 km/4 mi from Leighton Buzzard. Mentmore House, a lavish Victorian structure built 1852–54 by Joseph Paxton for Baron Meyer de Rothschild to house the latter's collection of art treasures, is now used as the headquarters of the Maharishi Foundation (a transcendental meditation organization).
