Meyerowitz, Jan (1913-1998)

German-born US composer. He studied in Berlin with Zemlinsky and Rome with Respighi. He moved to the USA in 1946, and became a US citizen in 1951.

Orchestral

Silesian Symphony (1957), oboe concerto (1963), six pieces for orchestra (1967).
