Miami Shores

Miami Shores

Village in Dade County, southeastern Florida, 10 km/6 mi north-northeast of Miami city centre; population (1990) 10,100. Originally part of Miami, it was separated from the city in 1932, and is a residential suburb. The village is the site of Barry University (founded 1940).
