Jagger, Mick (1943– )

English singer and songwriter. He is the lead singer of the rock band the Rolling Stones, with whom he has enjoyed enormous success dating back to the 1960s. In the 1980s, Jagger also launched a solo career. His albums include She's the Boss (1985), Primitive Cool (1987), and Wandering Spirit (1993). In 1985, Jagger also recorded a version of ‘Dancing in the Streets’ with David Bowie as part of the Live Aid charity campaign.

He was knighted in 2003.
