Unit of pressure equal to 1/760 of an atmosphere, used mainly in high-vacuum technology.

One torr is equivalent to 133.322 pascals, and for practical purposes is the same as the millimetre of mercury. It is named after the Italian physicist Evangelista Torricelli.
