| She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, and grew up in Waldorf, Maryland. Her parents were Cuban immigrants. She launched her entertainment career as a junior journalist on the Disney Channel's Movie Surfers. After moving to California she appeared in the musical Annie Warbucks, and made guest appearances on the TV series Charmed, Clueless, and Sister Sister. Other films include A Bug's Life (1998; voiceover), American Pie (1999), and The Wood (1999). |
