Millöcker, Karl (1842-1899)

Austrian composer and conductor. After studying at the Vienna Conservatory, he became a conductor at Graz in 1864 and at the Harmonietheater in Vienna in 1866. In 1869 he was appointed conductor at the Theater an der Wien in Vienna, and produced operettas for it.
