Millett, Kate (1934- )

US radical feminist lecturer, writer, and sculptor whose book Sexual Politics (1970) was a landmark in feminist thinking. She was a founding member of the National Organization of Women (NOW).

Later books include Flying (1974), The Prostitution Papers (1976), Sita (1977), and The Loony Bin Trip (1991), describing a period of manic depression and drug therapy.
