Millo, Aprile (1958- )

US soprano. After studying in Hollywood, she sang Aïda in Utah in 1980 and subsequently had great success as Giselda in a New York concert performance of I Lombardi. She made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera House, New York in 1985, as Amelia Boccanegra. At La Scala she has appeared as Elvira (Ernani) and in the 1991/92 season sang Marguerite (her Chicago debut); Elisabeth de Valois (at the Metropolitan Opera House and Verona); and Aïda (at the Festival of Caracalla.
