Millville

City in Cumberland County, southwest New Jersey, on the Maurice River, 70 km/44 mi southeast of Philadelphia; population (1990) 26,000. It is a summer resort. Products include vegetables, poultry, processed food, plastic goods, and glass. Glassmaking became important here in the 19th century. The area is also known for holly tree cultivation.

First settled in the 18th century, Millville was incorporated as a city in 1866.
