Milstein, Nathan (1904–1992)

Russian-born violinist and virtuoso noted for his technical mastery, especially in the Romantic repertoire. Born in Odessa, Russia, Milstein toured Russia with pianist Vladimir Horowitz. Making his US debut in St Louis in 1929, he remained based in the USA while pursuing an international career.
