Minehead

Seaside resort in Somerset, England, 4 km/2.5 mi northwest of Dunster; population (2001) 11,700. It is situated within the Exmoor National Park, of which it is the main tourist centre. Minehead harbour is used for boating and sailing.

The West Somerset steam railway runs along the coast from Minehead to the village of Blue Anchor.
