Mission San Xavier del Bac

Historic mission church in Arizona, regarded as one of the finest examples of Spanish colonial architecture in the USA. It is located 14 km/9 mi southwest of Tucson, on the San Xavier Reservation; population (1990) 1,200.

The mission at San Xavier was founded before 1700 by the Jesuit priest Eusebio Kino.
