Mitchell, Arthur (1934–1990)
| US dancer. He was director of the Dance Theater of Harlem, which he founded in 1968 with Karel Shook (1920– ). Mitchell was a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet 1956–68, creating many roles in Balanchine's ballets, such as Agon (1967). |
