Moiseiwitsch, Tanya

Moiseiwitsch, Tanya (1914–2003)

English-born set designer. She became associated with the Old Vic, the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, and the Stratford (Ontario) Festival.

Born in London, she started with designs for Dublin's Abbey Theatre between 1935 and 1939, From its opening in 1963, she was affiliated with the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis. She also designed a number of London's contemporary West End productions.
