Molay, Jacques de (1243–1314)

Last of the grand masters of the Templars. When in Cyprus he was summoned by Pope Clement V to Paris after all the Templars there were arrested. Molay was imprisoned and put on trial, but refused to save his own life by admitting any charges against the order, and was burned at the stake.
