Monadhliath Mountains

Mountain range in Highland unitary authority, Scotland, lying between Loch Ness and the valley of the River Spey. It consists of several peaks rising to 700-900 m/2,300-3,000 ft, the highest point being Carn Dearg at 945 m/3,100 ft. The mass is largely inaccessible by road.
