Opera by Février (libretto Maeterlinck's play with alterations), produced at the Paris Opéra on 13 January 1909.

Opera by Rakhmaninov (libretto ditto); composed (one act) in 1907, and first performed (concert) at Saratoga, New York, on 11 August 1984. Monna Vanna's husband Guido, commander of besieged Pisa, is suspicious of the help given to relieve the town.
