Montréal-Nord

City within Montréal Urban Community, southern Québec; population (1991) 85,500. Montréal-Nord lies on the southern shore of the Rivière des Prairies, facing Laval, and is located 13 km/8 mi north-northwest of Montréal city centre. A major French-speaking residential suburb, it also has some industry.
