Moore, Francis (1657–c. 1715)

English astrologer and almanac maker. His Vox Stellarum/Voice of the Stars, an almanac containing forecasts based on astrology, first appeared in 1700 and is still published yearly as Old Moore's Almanac.

Moore was born in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. Moving to London, he practised there as a physician.
