Morden

Town in south-central Manitoba, 11 km/7 mi west of Winkler, and 103 km/64 mi southwest of Winnipeg; population (1991) 5,300.

Local industries in Morden include farming, food processing, and grain storage. It is the site of the Agricultural Canada Research Station, a government experimental farm. Blossom Week (held in spring) and the Corn and Apple Festival (in August) are major annual events in the town's calendar.
