Mork, Truls (1961– )| Norwegian cellist. He studied in Stockholm and with Heinrich Schiff in Austria. A prizewinner at the 1982 Tchaikovsky Competition, Moscow, he made his New York recital debut in 1986, and his London debut in 1988. He is the founder of the International Chamber Music Festival in Stavanger. He has played the Lutosławski concerto under the composer and has recorded concertos by Shostakovich, Elgar, and Haydn. |
