Village in Tazewell County, central Illinois, a residential suburb 16 km/10 mi southeast of Peoria; population (1990) 13,800. Local manufactures include tractors and washing machines. The Mackinaw River State Fish and Wildlife Area is located 13 km/8 mi to the southeast
