Mount Gilead

Village and seat of Morrow County, in central Ohio, 26 km/16 mi east-southeast of Marion; population (1990) 2,900. Its economy is based on the manufacture of hydraulic presses, pumps, electrical equipment, pottery, foundry products, and chemicals. Seed growing is also important.
