Gardens created by the Walpole family near Ashford, County Wicklow, Republic of Ireland. They date from 1868, cover about 8 ha/20 acres, and contain many exotic tender plant species as well as native flora. The River Varity winds through the gardens and is flanked by plants from all parts of the world.
