Mouscron

Town in the province of West Flanders, Belgium, 11 km/7 mi south of Courtrai, near the French border; population (1991) 53,500.

At the hamlet of Risquons-Tout in 1848 the Belgian army repulsed French revolutionists who were attempting to invade Belgium.
