Moyle

Administrative region in the northeast of Northern Ireland, serving an area in the northeast of County Antrim; area 494 sq km/191 sq mi; population (2001) 15,900. The towns under the council's remit include Ballycastle, Bushmills, Cushendun, and Cushendall. The council also covers the offshore island of Rathlin Island, the only inhabited island off the Northern Ireland coast. The principal sources of employment include whiskey distilling, agriculture, agribusiness, fishing, and tourism.
