MRP II

Computer-based production system that plans all elements of production from raw material purchasing to the completion times of the finished goods. Representing a step forward from MRP, MRP II systems offer great efficiencies and cost savings. They are also exceptionally complex and require considerable planning and testing in order to be implemented effectively.
